Zonta has made a difference—in many women’s lives!
Since 1919 Zontians have been working around the world to improve the lives of women through our global service and advocacy efforts designed to promote programs to ensure the safety, education, healthcare and overall economic sufficiency of women throughout the world.
Our local chapter is a group of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to make a difference in the community in which we live. In 2011 we celebrate our 17th year of service to the Bonita Springs community, and I am excited as to what lies ahead for this amazing group of women.
As a long-term member of the Zonta Club of Bonita Springs, officially joining in 1998, but actively involved since 1996, I witnessed our Club grow and give back to the community. I previously served as Club President in 2002-2005. I also served as Area Director for District 11in Area 6 (2008-2010) and am currently serving the District as Public Relations Chairperson.
