Prepare to dine and be dazzled at the 4th Annual Glass Slipper Ball charity event featuring the Best of the Chefs competition on November 10, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa presented by the Zonta Club of Bonita Springs. Be sure to get your tickets soon. With over 300 guests in attendance last year, they will again sell out quickly. The event will continue to benefit local nonprofits working to provide educational programs, health related assistance and an end to violence against women within our local community.
The event features an evening of fabulous food from the top 20 restaurants in town including last years winners: Capital Grille, Irresistible Confections and Solo Chef as well as Hyatt’s Tanglewood and Tarpon Bay Restaurant, The Seminole Immokalee Casino, Agave, Grace and Shelly’s Cupcakes, Angelina’s Resturante, Brio Tuscan Grill, Blue Martini, Sassy Cakes, Prestige Catering, The White Pear Catering, Rita’s Italian Ice, South Fork Grill (formerly The Grape), The Bay House, Seasons 52, Roy’s Bonita Springs, along with many other talented chefs from the area. Guests will also be invited to dance the night away with The Derek Trenholm Band, enjoy custom cigars rolled on site by Burn by Rocky Patel, meet the ZigZag Girls from the Seminole Immokalee Casino during the silent auction and participate in the live auctions, all for a wonderful cause.
The Zonta Club will be honoring their Woman of the Year, Jennifer L. Benton, Chief Executive Officer of The Abuse Counseling and Treatment Center, Inc. and special guest Stacey Deffenbaugh will serve as the Celebrity Master of Ceremonies. This annual event is becoming THE charity fundraiser in Southwest Florida.
The 2012 Glass Slipper Ball (presented by Zonta Club of Bonita Springs) continues the tradition of raising significant funds to benefit the initiatives of the club for the improvement of the lives of women both locally and globally. Proceeds will be distributed to local non-profits which, through educational services, support and outreach, are working to provide educational programs, health related assistance and an end to violence against women within our local community.
