Thanks For Making Our Third Annual Amelia Earhart Luncheon A Success!

Our more than 100 guests were captivated by speaker, Susan Bulkeley Butler, author of “Women Count: A Guide To Changing The World,” a display of Amelia Earhart’s personal effects, our special guest, Faith Pearson, 89-year-old local veteran pilot, who met Ms. Earhart and was motivated to learn to fly and our outstanding emcee, Stacey Deffenbaugh, local NBC2 and ABC7 News Anchor.

Proceeds resulting from your support of the luncheon will fund the Club’s annual scholarship and grants promoting education of area girls and women. Together we will make a great difference in the lives of those touched by Our Club’s efforts.

We also want to thank Crae Clements of Crae Clements Photography who graciouisly photographed our event. Prints may be ordered from his web site, craeclementsphotography.com, with the proceeds going to the Club.
